“My one technique I picked up on and have tried to use is identifying your feelings or emotion when it’s happening.   I have used it at home with my family and really opened my eyes to “ Why I’m feeling this way” and am I really feeling this emotion or reacting to something else going on.   

It really changed my thought pattern when my wife got upset with me, I stated my emotion to her reaction, then asked if she was really upset with me or something else. She admitted she was stressed about something totally different, and just snapped at something else.  It was eye opening once we communicated our actual feelings/emotions of the actual source.”
